Perhaps others feel differently, but I'm not sure an off-cycle internship at a little boutique is going to give you much insight into the experience an Associate has a bulge-bracket/elite boutique firm. I hated every single day of my first banking internship. It was boring as shit. I learned absolutely nothing. The transactions were dull. The people were 9-5ers. But I loved my time as an analyst at a BB (as much as anyone can, I guess). They were completely different experiences.
Agree with the above poster. While I can't tell you much about recruiting for a pre-mba position, you might be best served by traveling this Spring and interning this summer, if possible.

I'm also admitted at CBS, and looking into smilar pre-MBA internships - any suggestions from the group would be great.
