What is Alt-R-A-S/M/C ?
Sounds like the shortcut for a proprietary add-in for excel because that doesn't do anything for vanilla excel.

Actually, a macro won't work for this, because it involves moving between multiple programs and making some judgement as to where to stick stuff. But yeah, I use macros wherever possible. The time tradeoff can be immense over the course of a project.
ALT - ESV instead of down down enter?

There was a time when I didn't know about the "align or distribute" feature. Tombstones were such a bitch back then.. It took me fucking hours to do one slide.
