So what are you guys doing this evening?

Aside from talking to you guys and waiting for my associate to call me back, my night consists of a whole bunch of this crap:

Ctrl-C. Alt-Tab. Alt-E-S down-down-enter. Alt-R-A-S. Alt-R-A-M. Alt-R-A-C.

Rinse and repeat. Oh yeah, I'm livin the dream. Banking like the wind, baby. Like the fucking wind.

Thinking how on earth I can get an ibank job. (period)

Banking > VC > Tech PE; PM me if you would like any advice I'm happy to help

Why would a nuclear engineer want to do ibanking? Don't you guys sit on a hoard of gold in air-conditioned rooms eating donuts? Sounds pretty blissful to me.

He's saying I should write a macro for this:

Ctrl-C. Alt-Tab. Alt-E-S down-down-enter. Alt-R-A-S. Alt-R-A-M. Alt-R-A-C.

Actually, a macro won't work for this, because it involves moving between multiple programs and making some judgement as to where to stick stuff. But yeah, I use macros wherever possible. The time tradeoff can be immense over the course of a project.

There was a time when I didn't know about the "align or distribute" feature. Tombstones were such a bitch back then.. It took me fucking hours to do one slide.

One day, the associate comes by and says "you know, there's an easier way to do that". I thanked him and then punched him in the face for not telling me earlier.
