SocGen Return offers
This morning I met with a Director in Tech at SocGen and somewhere along our conversation about my interest in IB he mentioned how they usually offer full-time positions to only about 3/4/5 interns out of every 15.
I was shook when I heard that. Does anyone know if this is true at all?
Look an internship is basically a 10 week interview to see if you can do the work and fit in with the culture. They aren't entitled to give a return offer to every candidate. That's why only a certain percentage of those who get superday offers actually get an internship.
"lower-tier" IBs usually don't take too many SAs from what I've seen and heard.
it always amazes me how all of the high schoolers and college students on here (who don't know shit) are obsessed with prestige and think they're going to work at GS/JP/Evercore type banks but in reality, they'd be lucky to be BO at Suntrust
Who says I was obsessed with prestige? Everything I've seen on this site and what I've heard from students from my college at similar banks has shown otherwise.
Aren’t you indirectly saying that STRH is a low tier IB compared to GS/Evercore ?
