Career Resources
Chicago office is very new, business services. MDs are largely poached from BGL (and are actually good in the space), and the junior team is extremely lean right now as they’re in growth mode. Very strong in the MM business services space with great deal flow (leaning towards sponsors buy-sides) and culture is pretty good from what I’ve heard but it’s super sweaty given the lean team and good deal flow. Definitely a pretty good place to be if you’re willing to deal with the growing pains of a new office (very lean team, not much mid-level headcount, lack of support services like a print team in the office). AN1 base is 110 I believe.
Is it like with any EBs or MMs? Or is it below a BGL? Or other MMs
Group is solidly in the MM-space (average deal size of like ~$400M or something), but they're really good in the MM space. I have a friend at Guggenheim PEAG Chicago in the same space and their main competitor is Solomon Partners Chicago. Definitely above BGL (the MDs they took were some of BGL's best MDs).
