Sophomore Minority at Target School

I'm currently a rising sophomore and a minority at a target school. I have a 3.6 and plan on applying to a lot of the minority programs available for sophomores for IBD at BB but I was mainly wondering how different the process is for sophomores and/or minorities. (Are the interviews different? Will sophomores only work with other sophomores if offered a SA position? Timeline? etc.) I was also wondering about return offers for junior year and if that is common. I would also love to hear about the helpfulness of programs like MLT and SEO which I am also applying to.
