depends on if you've had a freshmen internship and what your resume looks like. if you have nothing finance related then an incoming internship in something remotely similar is a big boost
Does it help a lot if you have freshman internship in finance related but. It directly finance. Like LMM PE 2027 analyst but 2026 summer intern @ non directly finance related place. Also does prestige matter a lot for 2027 internship
