Sorry, wasn't sure where to post this. Has anyone heard of Southwestern Company Corporation? I just received a phone call from them about a summer internship. They have a website, but i wasn't sure if it's legit. They're coming on campus tomorrow. http://www.southwestern.com/southwestern-company-…

yeah. it looks kinda like northwestern mutual-you try to sell to family and friends. I am supposed to go talk to them tomorrow, but i didn't know if anyone had experiences with them-whether i should go or not waste my time
What year are you? What is your goal for the summer? What is your goal for full-time? Do you have anything lined up for the summer?
Don't do it. It's a sales job. You sell school books door to door. Waste of time. You can make a lot of money though. You shouldn't be doing it unless you want to pursue a career in sales.
@giants- im a sophomore without anything lined up- yet. Hopefully ibd. I was initially trying to get a pwm internship this year, but when this lady called i figured i'd listen to what she had to say. she said average pay was something like 3 grand
lol, she's in sales after all. Find something else. They'll probably take you anytime regardless of what they say and if they don't, oh well! You still have some time between now and end of semester, go bust your butt and find something decently meaningful. This will not really help you with IBD.
