Spectrum Equity (Analyst/Associate) Updated Comp, WLB, Exit Opps???

Hoping to get some clarity on the firm and its updated reputation. Saw a VP post for an associate role on linkedin and have seen headcount grow. Would love to learn about comp, wlb and culture especially in the SF office.

Very well respected player in the growth equity space. They tend to invest in non “sexy” bootstrapped companies where Spectrum is the first (or one of the first) institutional investors. I know a few current and ex Spectrum investors, all of whom are sharp and friendly. I assume working at one of their portcos / another GE gig are most common exit opps. Have heard that comp is quite low at the Analyst level, but if anyone has some clarity around that- would be interested to hear. Overall can’t go wrong, Spectrum is one of the top mid-sized growth funds; I think of SGE as a peer.
