sponsorship in application process of Bulge Bracket

Hi I am currently studying and doing internship in France, and I am going to apply for 26 summer internship in London. To be picked for interview, should I write "need sponsorship" when applying?

I heard that if so the CV will be passed by AI.

Thanks!

Based on the most helpful WSO content, it's generally advised to avoid explicitly stating "need sponsorship" on your CV or application unless specifically asked. Many banks in London are open to sponsoring international candidates, but highlighting this upfront might lead to your application being filtered out by automated systems or recruiters. Instead, focus on showcasing your qualifications, skills, and experiences that make you a strong candidate for the role.

If the topic of sponsorship arises during the interview process, you can address it then. Additionally, ensure your CV is optimized for the London market and that you apply as early as possible, as timing is crucial in the application process.

Don't write it. Sometimes they'll ask on the application portal if you require it but don't put it on the CV imho.
