Spring Week CV- Help pls

Hello WSO!

I am a first year student in a 4 year course and I hope to get into the Spring Week game. I dont go to a target uni but I intend on giving it my best shot, so I would appreciate it if you gave me some tips on how to make my CV more competitive.

Also if i have the chance to complete a M&A internship at deloitte or a private equity internship at a small middle market private equity firm, which would be more useful to break into IB?

Thanks!

I just got 7 SW offers with zero finance experience apart from university extra curriculars from a semi target and also non diversity so your CV definitely has enough experience. I would focus on putting together quality applications well in advance cuz I spent so much time on that and it put me so far behind in uni work. From now till apps open focus on drafting quality CLs tailored to each firm and prep out interview answers and online tests in advance so you can apply as soon as apps open and you should be fine.

CV looks fine, although would try and quantify things a bit more

Hey, could you pm me. As a incoming first year at a semi I would love to hear how you did it as well as get some advice that is if you dont mind helping out
