I know they wont fire me im more concerned about staffings. The issue im having is i had a chat with a firm and the guy i talked to knew the staffer and told him he talked me the next time they caught up
Something similar happened to me and I hate to say it I've had nothing but BS staffings since. Worst part is I haven't landed anything and its my 2nd year so its much more deal experience driven in the interviews. Currently trying to lateral as a result.
If you're group is receptive of recruiting/the expectation is you most ANs don't stay for associate (think most EBs), then it's no problem, but frankly the average BB group get pretty vindictive about it.
