Starting at a BB?
So I bought a lot of the guides on this site including the technical interviews, fit interviews, market guides, and even the look behind the wall guide.
For the last one, I realized that many of the people in that file with the exception of the first guy who went to Stanford to BB, started at boutiques and then lateralled to larger banks. Why did they do this coming from good schools and having good GPA's? why did a majority of these guys go to boutiques and then lateral rather than just going to a BB altogether?
It is much easier going to a boutique, gaining tangible experience and then laterally transferring for one. The boutique might have also give some pretty unique or direct experience. However you get in all that matters is getting in.
