Starting Off-Cycle Internship soon

As the title says I will start soon an off cycle in IBD in a coverage group. So, I was wondering how can I maximize these few months of experience? Especially because team is notorious to not involve much the interns in the execution part but mainly origination. LT Goal would be get at least a shot for FT in BB next year. Any advice would be really appreciated

Background: (Class 2022 Target + another IB boutique internship)

I would say that one of the best things you could shoot for is to be indispensable for one or two people. I tried to pick 1-2 analysts (Preferably first year as they are working on more accessible stuff for an intern) I meshed well with and essentially try to take on a percentage of their workload. I did this in my summer analyst stint at an EB and by the time my internship was over, they were accustomed to being able to rely on me to do certain amounts of their work and felt like their workload was much worse when I left

At least in my experience, I found it more important to be essential to a smaller amount of people than to be slightly helpful for 5+ people on the team. Those analysts vouched for me in the return offer decisions and would likely vouch for you when it comes to getting at least an edge in full time recruiting, if not more. Just my experience.
