Stop Using Love in E-Mail...
Anyone else find it weird to use the word love in email? I keep seeing people use it in email along the lines of "I would love to find time to talk...". It just strikes me as odd - why not use something like "I would appreciate the opportunity to have a call to learn more about your experience and day-to-day, etc..". I think it's one of those words people use without giving much thought to. Makes me cringe each and every time...

no one really cares and everyone does it. you’re over thinking this.
Are you so afraid of commitment that even hearing the word "love" in an email triggers you?
Sounds like someone has daddy issues
Not weird to say “I’d love to grab coffee sometime.” Definitely weird to sign off with “love, XYZ”
agreed
Real gangstas start the emails with a "Hello sugar"
HR has entered the chat
I end all my emails with xoxo
no you don’t
At an EB and one of the founders signs off ‘Xoxo’
I’d recommend closing with:
[Eggplant Emoji],
Name
Who hurt you
What's the consensus on like a Best Regards?
All good.
Best regards formal, Best informal, Many thanks / Thanks also works
