Strange Ctrl+v problem
I'm using Excel 2010 and running into this strange issue: when doing Ctrl+c then Ctrl+v, it starts to automatically paste as value instead of keeping the formula. It started randomly acting up like this and don't know how to switch it back to normal...
Help pls??
P.S. also Ctrl+c and then Enter doesn't work - it just won't do anything instead of pasting normally...
Really appreciate it!
Do you have two separate instances of excel open? That will do it.
try alt e s f
try 'paste special'
esbanker is right on - alt esf is the best practice, doesn't kill your formatting. Even better, macro it.
