Strategic Projects Lead Role
Anyone have any thoughts on SPL roles with Mercor, ScaleAI etc. Currently work in IB and seems like they have a lot of ex-bankers and investors. Curious if anyone has insight on growth trajectory, long term career path, comp upside, etc.

Lots of friends at Mecor SPL. Can't speak for the others. in the short term, comp is great - similar to banking at the analyst level. WLB is honestly similar to IB. Expect 9am-11pm and work on Sundays, so marginally better than banking hours but not at all a cushy tech job. I don't think the company is going to do well in the long run, but if you're goal is to collect a check and break into tech, its a pretty good opportunity.
Curious about how its career trajectory works if anyone has insight? Would also love to know what the possibility of exiting into consulting/banking via offcycle might look like with this on the resume?
