Structured Finance hedge funds

Hi all,

I saw online that a couple of funds invest in Asset Backed Securities such as these two:

(I'm sure there are others, please list any that you know of)

These seem like obvious exit opportunities for those in Structured Finance origination teams at investment banks, yet these funds are not discussed at length anywhere (that I have found).

Could someone who has the relevant knowledge please explain whether these funds hire people from the teams that I mentioned & what these funds are like (anything significantly different from the usual 'hedge fund').

Cheers!
