Struggling A LOT with memorising things. Need advice

I work in an infra/renewables team. I've been in my position for 6 months and performance has been good. I notice improvements in finishing things with less mistakes and I'm blending in well overall. BUT I struggle a lot with memorising the sequence in modelling and presentations. Especially when I start things from scratch, which I do very very often. Almost with every deal kick off or just bid. It gives me a lot to do but again I have a hard time remembering which parts come first. I have to return to the blueprint model for example to remember the correct sequence in a model (e.g. a flag for ops start vs ops flags, term loan trigger flag vs full tenor) or what comes first in a presentation (e.g. returns vs downside risk). I figured I'd be a complete pro by now, like doing things quickly by heart. But I get these moments a lot so I have baseline model and deck open at all times.

It's not really irritating me per se. But it costs me some time and again I'm worried I'm adapting slower than I expected. Any help??? Thanks in advance.
