Studying Applied Finance and Economics at MQ

Hi all,

(Posted in this forum as replies are more consistent)

I am beginning my studies at Macquarie University (Australia) in 2019. I will be studying a bachelor of applied finance and a bachelor of economics. My main question is how will this degree be perceived in the investment banking industry? I am hoping to work in M&A or ECM. Will the skills developed in this degree benefit me for those two sectors?

Looking forward to your responses.

Thanks.
