My school career center sets up job shadow opportunities with alum for us. Freshman year I job shadowed at a fund of funds, and I know the boutique bank I worked at sophomore summer also had shadow opportunities. Overall I think it depends on the person you're looking to shadow rather than a corporate wide thing.

How is this looked upon from the eyes of the banker himself?? (the person would just be an annoyance? or would it actually be very beneficial for him)

I know of a few friends shadowing traders... Was wondering if anyone has ever asked to shadow a banker or has shadowed a banker. Experience stories would be much appreciated!

I shadowed one once... basically just hung out in his office for a few hours, and he should me around the floor. Wasn't all too exciting, but I did learn a few things. I've never brought it up with anybody, usually they'll just ask me if I would like to come into their office for a bit.
Was it massage services or something?
