when i was in new york, you could sign up through my bank to buy the monthly metro card with pre tax dollars. that was the best i ever got it. make some inquiries. start with HR.

Do summer analysts get car service at night?

I don't know about BB's but at one of my asset management internships, the employees also bought their transportation cards with pre-tax dollars. Just ask HR.

Yes summer analysts typically get to expense meals and transportation just like the FT analysts do.

I personally didnt buy the unlimited metro card over the summer because i was taking a car home almost every night. Also if you go into the office on wknds, they cover a cab both ways. so i was really just taking the subway in the morning and then occasional other trips throughout the week, but not enough to buy the unlimited pass. but i guess some pple may just buy the unlimited cause its not that much more and you dont have to think about it.

BBs do not do this as far as I know. Only shop that I know that does this is HL. They also pay for your lunch.

As a FT I get a $50 tax-free voucher towards a metrocard. Not quite sure if this is semi-standard.
