The answer to all 3 of your questions is no. non IB group at an EB? are you sure it is a front office position?
What does this non-IB position's responsibilities entail?
What group are you in?
Probably a MO/BO position.
Relax and be happy you have a job.
If you're non-IB don't expect IB compensation. I don't get what you are confused about here.
Non-IB role, translates to non-IB compensation.
Do boutiques have a MO/BO? He's probably referring to valuations at HL or maybe RX division
What? How does this question even make sense? Banks are still business. Boutiques still have to track their P&L and other shit, so they probably have a "corporate finance" department.
I think fours is probably confusing what people mean by boutiques (elite boutiques vs. real, small, 5 guy shops). I think it's pretty reasonable for smaller firms in the latter category to not have a MO/BO and just outsource that.
Except the RX group at HL probably makes more than everyone else there.
