Summer Analyst Group Placement
In your experience, how likely is someone to get their top 3 choices for group placement?
What % of interns network at all? Looking to join a competitive group. I have networked but not that substantially.

Just got my placement decision recently. Non targ non div working at BB next summer. Got my 2nd choice. Popular type group and definitely one of the better groups at the bank. Only talked to 2-3 people in the group too. Honestly some of it is probably random though. They prolly screen off resumes they like and don't base decisions solely off networking. My #1 I thought I had really good convos with the ones I spoke to but didn't get it. I'm sure 99% of interns network at least a little lol. Most people who get these internships are motivated/high achievers, so I doubt they'd get lazy with group placement.
