Summer Analyst Pay
Just trying to get an idea of what good comp is for a summer analyst position in New York this summer. Would be great if those who have received offers could drop what hourly or weekly pay they've come across and for what particular industry/role.
Appreciate any input here.
$40/hr, large MM $60 OT

Previously standard comp was 85k prorated for Juniors and now it’s either 100/110/120 depending on what bank you’re at. Each bank does pay differently. Some due fixed amount every two weeks. Some do hourly pay with OT. Some do hourly pay with “fake” OT built in to make sure you hit that prorated number, i.e. your hourly pay plus OT will make you hit that prorated number.
48/hour for 40 hours, 24 an hour for OT. Big MM Investment Bank
Will banks increase the 85k prorated to the new $110k number?

MM. my offer letter didn’t specify hourly or OT pay just that it would be prorated at A1 salary of 105K. Paid out every two weeks.

$48/hr for up to 40 hours a week (which is basically an hourly conversion of 100k base) and 1.5 times for OT. BB NY
what bank is this? I'll be at MS and get .5x for overtime

Unless you're at a boutique which makes it's own set of unique rules, you'll get whatever 1st yrs are getting on a pro-rated level.
anyone getting 85 prorated when base is 100?
Yeah I’m at BofA this coming summer and I haven’t heard anything new since the original prorated 85k. Don’t really understand what’s going on...
Did you sign before or after the bump? I signed after and contract was 85 annualized and I was confused
