Summer Associate Location Advice
Trying to decide between a SA offer in Asia (Imagine a Top 2 Bank) and London (Imagine Top 5-7 bank). Any recommendations on which one to go for?

Career Resources
I would recommend using a few criterion to make a decision. This advice is slightly different than that I would give to analysts, because it is intended for the time horizon of an associate in IBD.
(1) Where do you want to be in the mid- to long-term?
(2) What group did each bank offer you? Is it truly what you want?
(3) If either opportunity is not truly what you want post-MBA, which opportunity will allow you to lateral into a bank/group that you would find desirable?
(4) Is the Top 5-7 bank a European bank? Is it one of the ones whose strategic direction is still to be determined?
(5) What opportunity will give you the most responsibility/development?
