Summer Internship vs. Job
Thoughts on being a server at a restaurant rather than taking a return offer for corporate finance (I'm trying to end up in ECM)? I'm a freshman in college at a non-target.
Some pros:
- Build soft skills/appearance of humility
- Work for a paycheck
- Possibility of new connections (would not meet anyone new at internship bc everyone was there last summer as well)
- Something new on the resume
- Better commute
- ???
Some cons:
- Not relevant to finance
- Less enjoyable
- ???
