Sustainable motivation?

Hi all, first post but I’ve been lurking for a while.

I’m an undergrad trying to break into IB and I’ve come into a cycle of motivating myself by starting the day going into (what used to be anxiety) of going on WSO and LinkedIn to just try draw in motivation as it helps(?) for me to see the pressure I face and what I’m under. This is a repeated cycle and the potency does not really wear off, I’m not sure this is sustainable or this is the correct mindset to have in terms of work and it feels sometimes Sisyphean.

To be clear, IB is one of the things that I’ve felt the most strongly towards and though the motivation to do work may be more remote (working with less focus and attention) but I have never lost my goal.

I was hoping if any 1st yr analysts / juniors could lead some inspiration or support.
