SVB Leerink Culture / Hours
Know there have been topics on Leerink in the past about them poaching the UBS team and rising as a boutique, but would love some more clarity into their culture, hours, etc. Thx. For healthcare and TMT

this is for healthcare im assuming? and long hours consistently, on par with other healthcare groups?

Anyone have insights into differences with culture between Boston and New York? Also any idea on hours would be helpful.
Boston is where their CEO and most Executives sit, but most has a smaller group of bankers. Culture is great and hours are normal for IB sometimes longer due to Biotech deal volume

Tech and healthcare are run almost entirely separately.
Tech team is still taking shape. Solid culture from the top down. Most deals early on should be m&a in the $500m to $5bn range with sponsors taking 1 or both sides. Can’t say for sure, but I wouldn’t expect tech to have similar deal flow to healthcare.
Basically broken down into TMT, biopharma, and the other side of HC which includes services, devices, HCIT, and tools and dx. Culture is top-notch and hours are on par with other banks.
