Taking the Series 79 … Feeling a bit uneasy
Pretty much title, I am taking the Series 79 on Tuesday and feel a bit 50/50 about the whole thing.
I am using Knopman and have scored in the mid to high 60s on the 85 question tests and scored a 72 on the Final Benchmark. Not sure what to do, I have done over 1,100 questions.
Any advice here on how to get my score up 5-7% between now and then? I don’t have much more in my mind on what I can do that would be the best allocation of my time

How long have you studied for?
Around 70 hours or so
I passed all my other Series exams with limited prep so didn't study at all for the S79 and failed the first time. I then promised myself I'd study harder and in an organized way and then did nothing for like six weeks before cramming the last 6 days before the exam and thankfully passing. Here is what you should do:
1) Watch all the videos and take notes on the printout which follows along with the lectures
2) Take practice questions, review your answers and take more questions
3) Study the 50ish page key concept document; much of the test questions are focused on these topics
Also, I failed basically every practice exam and benchmark and passed the real thing. If you're in the neighborhood of 70% on the benchmarks you'll be fine as long as you take a deep breath and focus. Go with your instinct; do NOT change your answers.
I firmly believe anyone can pass this exam studying hard for 10 days (although if you have longer take advantage). Good luck, you'll do great!
It’s designed to make you feel uneasy, but after studying a little more you should be fine if you’re scoring well. Never 100% guaranteed but no use worrying. You got this!
I was consistently getting 45s-50s in all my series practice exams as they had me take them after starting FT off cycle.
If you’re cramming - only take practice exams. Just crank out the questions over and over and over again. There’s no point in reading the book or watching lectures if the entire thing is memorization anyway.
I passed all of mine first try with minimal studying/sleep doing this.
Caveat: If you have more time than a few days or few hours a day, watch the lectures too.
I will swear by the fact that opening those texts books is the biggest waste of time.
