Taking up another interview at the same bank but with different group while in the midst of interview- yay or nay?
I’m a first year analyst looking to lateral.
for context, one of my mates at another shop gave me a referal for a role at his desk and I’ve been through two rounds, with the latest round being on Friday. The next round would be the final round.
however, another friend at the same shop but in a different desk has suddenly reached out to me to offer me an interview as well.
should I just provide my details and start the process with the new desk as well, or should I reach out to my current interviewer to confirm if I’m in the final round before reaching out to the new desk?
Nothing wrong with taking the other Interview but be transparent with both groups. I was in a similar situation and ended up in the first group I interviewed for.
