Tattoos in IBD/HF/PE
Is it a problem to have tattoos (not wrist/fingers) in these industries? (For instance if in the forearm you should not roll your sleeves, right?)

Career Resources
I would never hire anyone dumb enough to show up with visible tattoos...and I'm very liberal. So yeah, hide them.
I exclusively hire people with tramp stamps of Janet Yellens face
Fuck this is stimulating
Are you retarded? This has been answered 500000000000 times both on this forum and the Internet in general.
Do NOT show up to any "real" job interview with any tattoos visible
Sorry for bothering.. chill out tho
Solid advice
My boss this past summer used to be a MD at a top BB (JPM/GS/MS) and he had multiple tattoos on his forearms down to the wrist. Might have had a full sleeve, but I only saw the forearm tattoos when he rolled up his sleeves. Most chill/funny boss ever and a big family guy as well. Obviously it’s just one sample, and maybe he never rolled his sleeves when he used to work in banking (or he got them after he left banking but idk why a guy in his mid-late 30s would get them)
.
Absolutely hide them. I have two forearm pieces on my right arm and one on my left, but I purposely limited them to a certain distance from my wrist, so if my cuffs pull back or I need to roll back my sleeves, they're pretty hard to see.
GS CIO has two full sleeves - but obviously not the norm. Just keep them outside of sight and nobody will know or care. Honestly though I'd be careful how much you talk about your tattoos to your coworkers. A lot of people in this industry are closed minded, uncreative, judgmental, and uptight - better to not let them label you for having tattoos
I'm sure they exist but I've never seen a single ibanker with a tattoo. My buddy who's in corp banking has one though. But as the saying goes, the nail that sticks out gets hammered down - I would keep them well-hidden and not talk about them.
