Technology Investment Banking - GS/MS/Q

So its clear that in SF, the contenders are GS TMT, MS Menlo, and Qatalyst. I would hate for this to convert this into a prestige oriented thread for ranking and am just genuinely curious if there is a material difference in the exit opportunities and quality of deal flow that these places offer (or if I'm just wasting my time splitting hairs). Furthermore, what are the odds of an SA at GS/MS being able to convert to a potential FT analyst switch to Q?

Q probably the best if you take into account everything from deal flow to culture to pay and exit opps.

Definitely can go for FT at Q - have seen a couple people summer at GS TMT and then go to Q for FT.

you work on only m&a deals at qatalyst, compared to working on debt and equity raises as well at ms and gs

“I don’t want to split hairs and turn this into a thread on prestige, but can we discuss the marginal differences between the top 3 opportunities in tech investment banking for new undergrads”

You are wasting your time.
