Tech/TMT Lateralling - MM to BB/EB

Hi Monkeys,

How hard is it to lateral from a strong MM Tech/TMT franchise to a top BB/EB in London at around the analyst mark?

Is accumulated deal sheet (reps + deal size) the main gating factor, or do warm relations play a significant role too? If a team has little track record into the BBs/EBs, how much does that hurt in practice?

And is an intermediate step to a lower/mid BB/EB usually necessary, or is the direct move realistic?

Would appreciate any insight! Appreciate it is a bit of a vague question
