The Most Laughable School Rankings Ever

I think this is foreign, but it is the most ridiculous list of rankings ever. You could not even make a more comical list if you tried.

YE777what is the most reliable ranking? Times ??

Either sort them by SAT scores or just look at the "Revealed Preference" rankings (google it).

Attached ranking is not quite as laughable as your obsession over the relative merits of school ranking systems - this is the same mentality that drives some to debate for hours and hours whether GS TMT really is more PRESTIGIOUS than MS M&A. These schools are all excellent perhaps it is news to you that HPY are not the only quality academic institutions in this country.

perhaps you could provide us with a ranking of rankings?

now that would be laughable

Any ranking that puts Cornell above brown is beyond ridiculous.

This is how I would rank the Ivy's: Harvard = Princeton > Yale >>>Columbia = UPenn > Dartmouth >> Cornell > Brown

The ranking is meant to reflect the world's view of universities, not just American, and not just Financial industry's. People overseas, even people who never went to college, know of Harvard, Stanford, UT (I saw plenty of longhorn shirts abroad), Columbia, Cambridge, etc. Many other universities have international outreach programs and are marketed abroad pretty heavily. I'm kinda surprised not to see IIT on the first page, but maybe they are just not up on the other metrics.

More is good, all is better

Yale is #38 on that list.
