The nicest offices & perks among EBs and BBs | London
Saw similar topic that was aimed at the US and though it would be good to have separate discussion for Europe.
What is your take on banks' London offices? Which office and location would you say is the most enjoyable? Which one offers the best perks/amenities? Mayfair vs Canary Wharf?
Very interested in this since I won't get to see the actual office during my SA gig...
Heard BAML get £65 a month for haircuts
lol that’s an elite perk
Is it equal for male and female employees? What about baldies?
I see what you did there.
Been working at BofA for nearly a year - never heard of this before
Rothschild and GS new offices are pretty sweet
Yeah Rothschild also has an amazing rooftoop area which is bang in the city - really good views. And its actually accessible to everyone.
bump
I remember Laz being quite nice when I did a SW there a few years back. Mahogany everywhere, especially in the boardrooms. Bull-pen looked pretty modern - not the typical cube farm you get elsewhere.
Heard Rothschild is incredible from a couple of my friends who worked/interned/springed there. Also heard Centerview was nice too.
I remember JPM's trading floor being v swanky when I had a tour around back in high school.
CVP on Pall Mall - top location. I haven't seen PJT's office inside but the building is actually kinda ugly despite it being in the heart of Mayfair.

Oh man that second new office is so fucking peng.
Ok, pretty cool
Houlihan Lokey has office in the same building (they rent two floors) just below PJT. The office looks slick as well: https://www.modus.space/case-studies/houlihan-lokey-green-park-london/
every opportunity is good to shit on PJT London
Lol why?
Would like to hear comments on JEF's swanky new office
other than their stupid 120k pay I’ve heard PJT analysts get Amex platinum and uber blacks. Also had quite a lot dished out to them for WFH setups.
I also heard about that 120k pay. Is that true, or happened only in exceptionally good years because of bonuses?
Fluctuates between 90-120k but 2019 was a damn good year for them and 2020 will be too
I guess they need to offer such pay to lure people who could probably go to GS/MS/JPM.
I don’t think it’s a ‘need’ more than it is they have a high dealflow per analyst but it definitely helps them remain competitive
People smart enough do not base their career decision on the 20/30k more you make as Analyst, but rather in choosing the best platform for their careers. the people I know from PJT @ Analyst level did not go there for the money
for what reason did they go?
to choose the best platform to start their careers mate
Woah alright you legend
Can confirm. Fucking sick
Jesus Christ Amex platinum you know... my BB needs to step tf up. You know what other benefits PJT have??
Wow is that common to all EBs or just PJT?
Not BB or EBB but Point72 has an ugly office... https://k2space.co.uk/case-studies/point-72-asset-management/
Holy shit that is depressing
KKR looks mad though
