Corporate Banking would mostly be involved in the day to day support functions of corporates: credit lines, revolving credit, investments. Investment banking would normally cover larger scale corporate decisions, i.e. corporate finance issues

Read up on the different roles. Depends entirely on what duties each person will have.

CIB is just an umbrella term that European banks use since they don't have "IBD." Just ask them what they do.
It means different things at different firms. I know a couple of places where it stands for "corporate and institutional banking" and others where it is corporate and investment banking.
