this is not rocket science

I’ve realized when your senior tells you “This is not rocket science.” repeatedly it’s a very polite way of saying “Are you a f**in idiot?” I had to make a chart which had two y axes, a line chart and a bar chart, and the two had different ranges. One was ranging from 0 to 30, and ranged from -5 to 25. I plugged in the numbers and it didn’t work as I expected. I had nobody near around to help me out, and I was struggling with it for an hour. My senior saw what I was doing, and he finally blew it out. “Are you a dumbo? We can’t get home because of you!”

Next time, it won’t end up like this easy. I’m afraid I’ll be canned.

I bet that I could make that chart in a split second with my eyes closed.

First of all, you ARE a dumbo.

Secondly, you WILL get canned.

Thirdly, you forgot to Google that shit.

Lastly, you better be sucking on your MD's dick. otherwise, i think you are going home for sure.

London is the new b2. I miss him...

The lowest life form in the world is child molestor. The second lowest is internet forum troll. Congrats, London. That post pushed you from mere irritant to unabashed troll.

Am I being too harsh? I learned that shit (multiple axis on Excel charts) in middle school, seriously. We had this useless (so i thought) business computing class at my middle school where we had to learn this.

am i really being too harsh? i don't think so.

i find it hard to believe you're on the level ... i mean no one is this much of a duchebag in real life. is this some sort of sociology project for you? are you just trying to see how people respond to a whiny bitchy useless jerk-off? are you being ironic?

San Jose,

What you need to do now is memorize all the short cuts for excel. Ask your boss for a one on one meeting and once the meeting roles around. Look at him straight in the eye (Passionately and look like you are almost on the verge of tears) and say "Remember when you said if the charts was rocket science?" and then spit it out.....you will get a raise.

Dude, Seriously why didn't you go to powerpoint help? Or perhaps call one of your buddies... or use preslink (dealmaven) help?

I remember when I did something almost as stupid. I made a DCF model but i discounted all the cashflows by the same rate.

For instance, CF1 was discounted by (1.1) CF4 was also discounted by (1.1), instead of (1.1)^4.

Totally fucked up the valuation and I got my ass raped by my associate.
