Just saw the post about cover letter so I am starting to write my cover letters too but I am having trouble addressing the companies
For IBD or S&T
Should I address them as: 1. JP Morgan or JP Morgan, Chase & Co 2. Citi, Citigroup or Citibank 3. Bank of America or Bank of America - Merrill Lynch 4. Goldman Sachs or Goldman, Sachs & Co

Didn't you say you have an IQ of 153 or something? You should be able to figure out that you don't abbreviate.
Don't ever call "Citigroup" "Citibank", I think they are very sensitive to being called "citibank". Citigroup is the safer choice.
