Thoughts on Catan as an interest on a resume?
I’ve been getting into the settlers of catan board game this summer (both with friends and online) and curious how that would look as an interest in a resume while recruiting for IB. I feel like most people know what it is but does it fall in the category of loser nerd games or would it be pretty normal to have as an interest.

Interests make you stand out. Whether it is working out (specific type such as Powerlifting) or your favorite restaurants (literally have seen Chilis on a resume) it makes you rememberable.
One resume I saw had “Competitive Uno”, still remember the guy a year or so later

Don’t think it’d ever be a negative. I personally adore Catan, so if I saw that on a resume, it’d be a great conversation starter
I put it on my resume and an associate actually called me out on it (in a good way).
