Thoughts on Credit Suisse M&A team?
Saw a few posts on this team but was wondering what the thoughts are particularly for Associate + population updated for Archegos / banker exodus.

Horrible culture. If locked in at CS would prefer that over teams like FIG, but definitely brutal and you'd be better off in M&A elsewhere
Appreciate the color. Anything that stands out in particular with regards to why the culture is so bad?
Probably the douchebags that work in the team comes top of mind.
Culture aside, would avoid CS if you have any other options
Sounded super sweaty, but people I've talked to seemed nice.
One of the better groups at CS for exit oops/rankings. Probably tied with Levfin (LFO), since what people seem to forget is that the CS lev fin clout comes from FSG. M&A group is fucking huge and sweaty but one of the top groups at cs
