Thoughts on extending undergrad by a semester?

So, I am a non-target student and I am recruiting for SA 2021.

Background: ER internship last summer at a $20 bil AUM fund, Stock pitch competition, Multiple top prizes (top 3) at national level competitions, honors business program, multiple exec boards on campus, and a canceled IB internship at a boutique for this summer.

Results: Superdayed at a BB about 25 days ago but didn't get an offer (my only NY interview). Networking hard at another BB that just opened applications (spoken to people from analyst all the way to MD level) and really hoping to get an interview here. This BB will probably be my best shot for SA 2021. Other than this, I have interviewed at multiple banks in a non-NY city but most of them have been stuck cuz of COVID or have been delayed. I have officially interviewed and have been rejected from 2 places (non-NYC BB, and NYC-BB).

Question: I am thinking about extending my studies by a semester so that I can be eligible for a SA 2022 internship. What are your views on this? more specifically, how common is it to interview at the same place again? (My interview at the non-NYC BB went extremely well, and the interviewer told me that he thought I was outstanding, and my other connections at the firm are very strong as well, but still didn't get the superday) I think this can be helpful as I am very confident that I'll be able to land a strong boutique IB internship so that my resume gets beefed up for SA 2022.
