Thoughts on Greenhill at the analyst level? (Exits, deal experience, comp, etc)

There was a previous thread on the thoughts of Greenhill's franchise viability going forward, but it'd great to hear thoughts on the value of joining GHL specifically at the analyst level. From an exit perspective, a quick search looks like some have gone to Warburg, Madison Dearborn, Ares, but they also exited when deal volume was greater.

Also, how is GHL's presence in the different offices NYC, San Fran, Chicago?

I do not work there. However, I recruited there and was told in a few conversations that all associates are MBA. Buyside recruitment is the standard. The guy I spoke with said some people return post mba but there is no A2A promote.
