Thoughts on JPM FIG Group?

Love to know thoughts on JPM FIG as an incoming summer associate - culture, comp, people, type of work etc. within each of the sub verticals.

Heard it’s amongst the highest revenue generating and technical groups at JPM. Love to hear the latest perspectives.

Better than the MS FIG group noting that thread! Although who knows and MS FIG may just be a super low. Sorry I don’t have anything real to add here but figured would comment to bump :)

All of JPM FIG is pretty good, but those are sweaty verticals that are also more pigeonholed. imo banks is worse while insurance has had a change for the better with the new head from citi(jawad)

If you think you are going to stay in FIG long term, it’s fine being on the balance sheet side.

Thank you. Most top groups would be demanding but for what it’s worth, folks culturally were amongst the strongest throughout my process. Thanks for the perspective!
