Very unique group, being one of the few if not only groups that does Tech and is based out of LA. Every analyst I spoke to seemed to be extremely busy so deal flow must be solid (they do some consumer too). People are all super nice and I get the vibe that majority of them are there to stay at least for more than 2 years to build out the franchise. Their LA office is experiencing strong growth right now and the seniors are there to want to build out the office even further, and recruit people that wish to do the same. Perks are crazy, they have a wellness budget, meal stipends, expensed ubers, lots of happy hours etc. Culture is good as far as banking goes, analysts and summers are close with each other. Pay is very good as well, they recently bumped to $120k base and 2 years ago their bonus was a flat 1.2x for all analysts, not bucketed.

Nope I accepted an offer elsewhere, but gathered the information above throughout the recruiting process from speaking with analysts and interviewing with them
FYI those perks that are mentioned also apply to NYC office. Team off sites in Florida, wellness budgets, etc.

NY is in extreme growth mode. Rapidly increasing headcount via interns and MDs. A little slower in the middle though.
