"Ticket Pocket" on suit jacket for an analyst
I've been taking a hard look at suit supply because of some great reviews I have received both online and in person. Some comments about these suits are that often they are too trendy and not conservative enough so I'm trying to stay away from that.
I have it narrowed down to a clearly conservative suit and one that I like quite a bit more (SS considers it a "classic" suit as opposed to a contemporary suit), but it has a "ticket pocket". This scares me away from it a little bit.
That being said, this was the exact suit model compared in their breakout WSJ article that found suit supply was basically equivalent to a vastly more expensive armani suit.

Any thoughts on how acceptable a suit with a ticket pocket would be for an analyst?
Been seeing this a lot more lately. Although I'm a proponent of keeping things simple as an entry-level analyst, I don't think this would matter much.
Angled ticket pockets: yes. Flat: no.
Ok good to hear. In a video describing the suits I linked they mentioned they were slanted ticket pockets so maybe I will give it a shot.

Personally, I'm pretty partial to the look. Still wouldn't care much whether someone wears suits that has 'em or not, though. It's not going to affect my opinion of you.
I tried some of the suits on, pretty nice fit off the rack. I wouldn't pay more than $400-500 for one of the suits though. If you stick with grey and blue suits you should be fine. Some of their styles are too much, but you can easily avoid them.
