Hey WSO community, I had a few questions that hopefully you guys could help me out with. I'm currently a university student in Canada going into my second year. My GPA first year was 3.7 and a career such as IB seems like something that suits me. I was wondering what tips you have for a university student on getting into a career like this? What importance are in school extra circulars? Currently I'm on a investment team within my school and during the summer I'm taking excel courses to better qualify myself in the future. I stress that I'm not putting enough effort to put myself apart from others.
Any tips or insights for a university student just starting out would be greatly appreciated.
