So theres the dilemma of whether or not to list a low GPA on the resume when applying for IBD internships/FT opportunities.
But how low is low...
The general consensus seems to be that a 3.7 cGPA is the cutoff for most IBD positions (some say higher and some say lower).
For someone who has a cGPA of 3.5 coming from a semi-target school (tier 2 or 3) (in Canada), with decently good finance experience and extracurriculars... When applying for a summer internship (for BB's, MM's and boutiques), would it be better to list or not list my cGPA on my resume, or somehow position it at the lower end of my resume so that recruiters can read about my experience/EC's/passion for finance first?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
