Tom Ford shows to an IB Interview?
I have a pair of Tom Ford Gianni capped toe shoes in black. Pretty minimal. I'm interviewing for IB soon and wondering if I should wear them. I got them at a ridiculous price like under $300 and love them. I bought them in my teens when I was into fashion so I never intended to wear them to an interview. Is it overkill? What will the interviewer think if they notice? Should I go out and invest in Allen Edmond Park Aves instead? Need some sound advice.

If you got them for $300 they are almost certainly fake, so the issue of being too showy is moot
If they're plain black captoes go ahead an wear them. No one will recognize them anyway. Plus AE park aves look old manish af.

The heel looks a little goofy but no one will notice or care
1.5" heels are standard in IB so not really a distinguishing factor in this case. Just make sure they're spit polished and if you notice any of your interviewers wearing fashionista shoes, don't miss the opportunity to bond over it.

If the interviewer doesn't comment on them, they may have just been distracted. Make sure you kindly point out that they are Tom Fords.
