Top Bucket Incoming Summer Analyst
Hey all,
I am an incoming summer analyst (‘25) and just wanted to get a sense of what I should be doing to prepare. I know the hours will be long and the work is demanding but I have always been a hard worker so should be fine there. I have also done dozens of coffee chats, I know what to expect. So far I have:
- Added “incoming summer analyst” to my LinkedIn (is it weird that it looks like I have been there for a year but I haven’t started working yet)?
- Done Rosenbaum and Pearl DCFs (I’ve gotten to the point where I barely have to reference the walk throughs)
- Sent coffee chat invitations to each person in the group from analyst - group head. Response rate is low but guess people are just grinding cuz it’s IB
what else can I do to come in at top bucket?
