Top Liberal Arts College for IB?
How good are top liberal arts colleges for IB recruiting? Currently at a decent state school but may consider transferring to a top 10 LAC. Any thoughts or recruiting experiences would be appreciated. Thank you.

Network and get a good GPA. You should have a decent number of interviews if the school is top 10 and come across as polished and show interest in IB
Which schools are the best represented? At an EB, no lac grads in my class or the next class
Which schools have the most representation in both of the EB classes you mentioned? Any schools with a suprisingly low or high amount of representation?
The NESCAC has really strong placement, particularly if you are going for New York or Boston. Claremont schools if you have a west coast preference.
I see a fair amount of Williams alums.
ex nescac here, get good grades, study for interviews, reach out to alumni and the rest will all fall into place
Bowdoin, Midd, and Williams are more prevalent on Wall Street than say Swarthmore, Amherst, and Pomona in my experience.
Middlebury at least. Especially for GS. Potentially MS too if Pick makes CEO. Hamilton has DJ Sol. Know a good amount of Wesleyan at MS. I personally haven’t seen as many Williams / Amherst but they’re the top 2 LAC schools and I’m sure they crush it.
You can find them but networking isn’t clear cut. The presence of liberal arts colleges in IB can sometimes be correlated with group affiliation in most cases (i.e. sports teams, Greek life, etc).
Middlebury and Williams are top feeders. The alum network is really what makes the recruiting experience for these schools
At a weak NESCAC for wall street placement so be careful which ones you choose. Some, like mine, are nearly impossible to break in from. However, I networked around other NESCAC schools and found that Middlebury does extremely well, Bates and Bowdoin are also quite solid, Amherst and Williams had some alumni. Hamilton had a good amount too
Hamilton Williams Colgate bucknell. These all get those boarding school kids. I’ll add wake forest has amazing placement and should be considered the highest semi target (above vandy emory usc, higher than BC)
